What is

AYURVEDA?

Ayurveda is an ancient healing system from India that focuses on balancing the mind and body to achieve overall health. It views each person’s body type as unique (called a dosha) and uses natural practices to balance. There are three main doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—each made up of different combinations of the five elements: Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth.

Ayurveda uses diet, lifestyle changes, herbs, yoga, and meditation to help restore balance and prevent illness. Instead of just treating symptoms, it aims to address the root cause of health issues, helping you feel your best and live a more vibrant, healthy life.

“To create transformation, focus on the cause, not just the symptoms.”

A dosha is a key concept in Ayurveda that refers to the three energies—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—that influence our physical, mental, and emotional health. Vata is connected to movement and creativity, Pitta to digestion and metabolism, and Kapha to structure and stability. Each person has a unique balance of these energies, called their prakriti, which affects their health and personality. When these energies are in balance, we feel healthy and vibrant. When out of balance, they can lead to health issues and disease. Ayurveda helps restore balance to keep the mind and body in harmony.
